Attaining Standardisation and Sustainability in Cold Chain Industry

Having completed all the cycles in the cold chain industry, we own five standard products, such as ColdHubs, Cooling Warehouses, Refrigerator Trucks, Ice points, Manufacturing of Returnable Plastic crates, and the Cold-Connect App.

In a bid to foster best global practices within its industry, ColdHubs focuses the year’s theme on “Achieving Standardization, Uniformity, Best Practices, Quality, and Quality Control” for its 2024 Commencement Retreat, which took place at the headquarters in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria.

The retreat is a reinforcement and onboarding point for the team to discuss, plan, and strategize on the best approach to using its innovation to combat food spoilage and tackle challenges faced in the past years.

The engagement during these meetings aligns with the organization's commitment to keep investing its resources in infrastructure that promotes environmentally friendly practices and sustainable energy solutions.

Nnaemeka Ikwuguonu, the Chief Executive Officer of ColdHubs, charged the team to join the company's ethos of continuous improvement and collaboration among its diverse workforce.

“For us to drive our purpose toward the mission and vision of eradicating food spoilage and the nemesis and crises that go with food spoilage, we must express our commitment with all sincerity and apply professionalism across the board.”.

Nnaemeka, speaking on the objective of the retreat, is to ensure that all teams are fully informed and aligned with the strategic direction of ColdHubs Limited, which solidifies a foundation for unified action.

At the end of the retreat, 2023–2025, new organizational structure and new products were displayed, giving the team a comprehensive understanding, implementation, and implication of roles.

The goal is to attain best practices for world-class cold chain companies in an equitable and growth-oriented manner to inspire confidence and trust for the future.
