Heifer International is presently providing support for ColdHubs Limited to expand its technology and services in Nigeria.

Heifer’s support to ColdHubs is coming through its AYuTe Africa Challenge. The challenge competition is for the most promising young agritech innovators across Africa—creative professionals who are using technology to reimagine farming and food production across the continent.

Winners of the challenge get cash grants of up to US$1.5 million annually and being one of the winners, ColdHubs Limited will be getting support to build two of their new 100tons ColdHubs and eight 3tons ColdHubs.

The CEO, Nnaemeka Ikegwuonu said that the support will take ColdHubs to the next level with the 100tons ColdHubs expected to be built-in large-scale food aggregation centers, while the 3tons ColdHubs will be built in outdoor markets in the south-western region of Nigeria.
