ColdHubs' participation at the Grand Challenges Annual Meeting 2022 is an eye opening experience, according to Victor Ogbonna.
Mr. Ogbonna, who is the Head of Administration and Human Resources at ColdHubs, represented them at the event which was held in Brussels, Belgium between October 23 and 26, 2022.
He said that seeing the challenges the world is facing seems scary for humanity, but seeing the commitment by organizations globally to solve them means there is hope for humanity.
Pitching ColdHubs at the event, Victor Ogbonna said that it also shows how outstanding the company has been with further applications of their solution.
"ColdHubs' solutions as gone beyond markets, farm clusters and food agreements centers to preventing food spoilage in even remote camps for internally displaced persons"
"The development for us is improving our technology, service delivery and social impact", he said.
The Humanitarian Grand Challenge aims to foster systems change within the humanitarian sector by challenging the underlying models through which traditional humanitarian assistance is delivered.
The Annual Meeting convenes over 1000 key leaders from across the global community to share best practices, encourage collaboration and seek solutions for common challenges.
The 2022 meeting aims to build momentum for global health and development innovation and foster scientific collaboration among international groups and researchers.
It is co- hosted by the European Commission, Grand Challenges Canada, the United States Agency for International Development, Wellcome and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
