Farm & Market Connect Centers; sponsored by Microsoft and powered by ColdHubs is enabling farmers, retailers and wholesalers surf the web, touching a computer and learning how to use a computer for the first time.
Excess energy from four ColdHubs sites are being used to power a robust wifi connection, sets of computers and other equipment. The idea is to make farmers to be conversant with technology and also know how to use the Microsoft tools to enhance their knowledge in farming and marketing of agro produce.
Having concluded on the pilot, the Farm & Market Connect Centers will be calling for new applications from interested people very soon. Please look out for this in our upcoming newsletters.
