Fisher men and women in Ibeno and Ibaka coastal communities of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria now have access to a ColdHubs, to enable them store and preserve their daily fish catch. The primary occupation of people in these Niger-Delta coastal communities is artisanal and captive fishing.
Incidentally the communities are having access to cold storage, to store and preserve their fishes for the first time, thanks to a support extended to ColdHubs by All ON Energy Impact Investors.
Together with All ON Energy Impact Investors, ColdHubs will be expanding our technology and service to other communities in the Niger – Delta Region of Nigeria, enabling fisher folk, farmers, retailers and wholesalers eliminate lack of cooling induced food spoilage and achieve sustainable livelihoods
