ColdHubs, participated in the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) project; Post Harvest Loss Alliance for Nutrition (PLAN) Workshop – Developing a Bankable Business Plan.
PLAN aims to reduce postharvest losses in fresh fruits and vegetables and has identified the lack of cold chain as one of the main causes in the high postharvest losses in Nigeria. The GAIN team led by Dr. Augustine Okoruwa visited ColdHubs during its first B2BE Cold Chain Diagnostic in November 2016.
The workshop was facilitated for 13 PLAN members in Nigeria anchored by Heritage Bank Nigeria in collaboration with LP Guzee. ColdHubs through the PLAN is exploring collaboration opportunities with Heritage Bank to support nationwide technology deployment and integration of the logistics model, to become Nigeria’s first full cold chain company.
