ColdHubs CEO, Nnaemeka Ikegwuonu have been shortlisted for Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation by the UK Royal Academy of Engineering. ColdHubs was adjudged to:
“Bring much reliable technology to the farmers and local vendors as it uses solar and battery technology to preserve vegetables and fruits, and it is cost effective, and has a short term and long term benefit for society”.
Furthermore, ColdHubs was said to be a “credible, well thought out idea which meets a clear need. The design looks robust and fit for purpose and has been implanted”.
