ColdHubs ITSM with Data.Org Team at Mile 12 cold room Lagos State, Nigeria
A team from Data.org has visited the ColdHubs facility at Mile 12 Market Lagos State, Nigeria.
The visit saw the team learn more about ColdHubs innovation as well as how the company is exploring data driven solutions in their daily operations.
The team had the Executive Director, Danil Mikhailov; The Chief Marketing and Product Officer, Perry Hewitt; The Chief Data and Technology Officer, Uyi Stewart and Aanu Oyeniran, Delivery and Performance Lead, Data Scientists Network Nigeria.
The Information Technology Systems Manager for ColdHubs, Chinedu Hardy Nwadike who received the team from Data.org said the visiting team were impressed with both the solution ColdHubs is providing and the implementation of data collection procedures in their daily operations.
ColdHubs is piloting the 'Your Virtual Cold Chain Assistant' project by Basel Agency for Sustainable Energy (BASE) and EMPA.
Chinedu Hardy Nwadike who is also heading the pilot program which is done through the mobile and web application Coldtivate, said the visit by the Data.org team is to see how the project is being implemented.
The application records sales data, does shelf life analysis for fruits and vegetables as well studies customer behavior and produces price analysis based on the season of the year.
Data.org is one of the organizations funding EMPA and BASE for the project.
When completed, Coldtivate will be an open source applications to help companies in the cold chain industry to easily implement data driven smart operations.
