ColdHubs Supply Chain Officer Princewill Dike has revealed that the logistic arm of the company will be completing 100 trips before the end of 2022.
Princewill said that having launched three months ago, the company is making huge progress in transporting fresh fruits and vegetables across the country.
He said that in line with the vision of the company, “ColdHubs Logistics has done very well”
“Becoming one of the leading cold chain companies in Africa is a huge responsibility and we are doing everything possible to ensure we even get better amidst huge expectation”
“We have done more than 70 trips in about three months and we are still learning new things everyday because of how dynamic our roads and policy enforcers are”, he said.
He added that poor road conditions, high cost of diesel and activities of touts on the road are huge issues, but the company will study the situation and find the best ways to run the business smoothly.
“Already we have our operational template and as expected we will keep making things better because we want the best for what we are building here”
“We have more trucks on the way and we hope to cover more routes, transport more food and hugely cut down on the level of postharvest lost in Nigeria as well as recreate the same template for Africa”, Princewill Dike said.
