ColdHubs Limited has announced the introduction of her Hub 2.0, an amplified hub with bigger storage capacity and less energy consumption.

With Covid-19 pandemic amplifying the need for bigger food storage system, the Nigerian company will be making adjustments on their Hub 1.0 which has the ability to store up to 3 tons of food daily.

According to Chief Operations Officer of ColdHubs Limited, Mr. Bright Igbokwe, Hub 1.0 serves only 1% of the targeted customers, while creating a gap of 99% targeted unserved customers, adding that Hub 2.0 will cover the gap.

“So far the lessons we have learnt from running the Hub 1.0 is that the cost of land acquisition for hub 2.0 and its operational cost is relatively the same with Hub 1.0, we can spend less to have bigger storage space”

“Hub 2.0 has a capacity to store 10 tons of food daily with lesser dependent on battery and lesser energy requirement from battery”

He further revealed that after the lockdown, the Hub 2.0 will enable their customers have bigger storage space for their fruits and vegetable.
