As the demand for computing power and natural resources grows across the world,
these innovative companies are lowering input costs, strengthening supply chains, and
unlocking new revenue from underused resources. The 10 Circular Economy Semifinalists
are creating jobs, strengthening economic and environmental resilience, and delivering
measurable social impact across Africa.
At this milestone, the Milken-Motsepe Prize will award $500,000 in total unrestricted
funding to the teams. Expert judges across circularity, industry, and social
entrepreneurship will winnow the 10 semifinalist teams down to five finalists based on
their commercial viability, market scalability, workforce and social impact, and circularity
and environmental impact.
