For the past years, ColdHubs has been consistent and strategic in maintaining a high profile relationship while marketing and rendering its services to their customers, especially farmers and traders, and partners.
The Sales and Marketing Department is an essential part of the company that manages all the business activities, business development, marketing, customer educational processes, as well as monitoring activities in all the regions where ColdHubs are installed.
According to Uzoamaka Umezuruike, Head of Sales and Marketing, the Southern Hub generated better income as a result of improvements in their storage facilities.
The hubs extended their storage from storing only peas, greens, tomatoes, and fruits to storing other perishable produce.
She said, "The resuscitation of inactive hubs in the Northern region is one of the most notable achievements of the department. As you know, Northern Nigeria produces major foods in the country, and our services and impact are highly needed to avoid food spoilage and increase food security in the nation”
"To retain our customers, we conduct frequent reengagement programs and post-harvest management training for farmers and traders in the entire 28 states where we have our facilities”
She added that research on customer expectations and feedback is necessary for better customer service provision and proper analysis of the organization's revenue generation.
Umezuruike further commended partners such as Heifer International, GIZ, Yux, and Catalyst Fund for all their numerous contributions towards the successful achievement of the year's action plan.
While speaking on the 2023 action plan for her department, she revealed that the company will activate a 100 tons hub in Jos Plateau State to handle the demand from large scale farmers in the area.
"Jos is popularly known for the production of exotic fruits and vegetables due to the city’s climate. For the impact our innovation is creating, we want to structure our hub to serve as a food aggregation center for perishables and seasonal produce”
"Meanwhile, there will be more improvement in customer service provision, and we are developing a better approach to bring all our customers under a platform for easy communication, interaction, and proper business relations."
Amaka Cladiatte, Director of Sales and Marketing (South-South), appreciated all customers of ColdHubs for their patronage and assured them that all challenges encountered during service provision in 2022, will be resolved and improved on in 2023.
