In a bid to preserve and save more perishable foods in Nigeria with clean energy, ColdHubs Limited is expanding to five more markets across five different states in Nigeria. The new locations are markets deemed strategic as hubs of fresh fruits and vegetables especially, with traders incurring occasional loses due to lack of storage.
Two hubs with the ability of saving 6 tons of food per day have been built in each location, making it a total of 10 hubs in five different locations with the cumulative ability of saving 30 tons of food per day and 10,950 tons per year. The markets are located in FCT Abuja, Lagos, Ogun, Kano and Abia states, with more expected to be built after their commissioning when Covid-19 lockdown on markets is finally lifted.
Dei Dei Market, Abuja FCT; Ile Epo Market, Iyana Ipaja, Lagos; Ogere Market, Ogere, Ogun State; Yankaba Market, Kano, Kano State and Good Morning Market, Aba, Abia State are the markets.
