Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G) announced its sector winners for the annual State-of-the-Art Partnership Awards. These Awards recognize best-in-class partnership-driven business models that have achieved measurable, replicable success in key Sustainable Development Goal areas, including food, water, energy, cities and the circular economy.

The 2020 State-of-the-Art Partnerships fall into two categories:

• Sector winners now in the running to be recognized as the P4G Partnership of the Year

• Up and Coming partnerships, who have only begun their journey towards delivering scalable solutions for green growth.

An external panel of expert judges evaluated more than 60 applications to determine the sector winners. Judges included Craig Hanson, Vice President of Food, Forests, Water & the Ocean at World Resources Institute for SDG 2; Kalanithy Vairavamoorthy, Executive Director at International Water Association for SDG 6; Tracey Crowe, Chief of Staff and Director of Internal Programs at Sustainable Energy for All for SDG 7; Charlotte Breen, Head, Green Economy & Innovation at C40 for SDG 11; and David McGinty, Global Director of the Platform for Accelerating the Circular Economy (PACE) for SDG 12.

These partnerships join a network of more than 50 P4G partnerships providing tangible solutions for green economic growth.

“In our third year of identifying State-of-the-Art Partnerships, these winners represent the best of the best partnerships. This year’s winners provide solutions at the cutting edge of sustainable economic growth and exhibit the resilience required to build back better and greener. Previous winners have also later been selected for P4G’s funding pipeline, which is a tribute to the P4G venture capital approach and our ability to build network and innovation opportunities through our diverse portfolio,” said P4G Global Director Ian de Cruz.
